Bangkok-Pattaya Trip Day 4: Pattaya Beach, Bee Farm, Dried Food, Tiger and Crocodile Farm, Siam Paragon, Asiatique by The Riverfront

     Hello everybody ^^
This is my last day at Pattaya and soon we will heading to Bangkok. After prepare for check out from the hotel we ate breakfast inside the restaurant. The meal actually the same as when we eat at Bangkok. I also eat western food such as pancake, french toast, chicken sausage (the same sausage! really love it). We eat it deliciously with pool view so it's even more delicious :)

After check out from the hotel, our tour guide said Pattaya Beach is actually not far from the hotel so we stop by to take a look.

In front of the beach there's a new mall, the and only mall in Pattaya named Central Festival. But we didn't visit the mall because it's too early to visit lol.

Our plan today was pretty packed so we decided to go. The first place is bee farm. It's include in our tour package so we should go. At first they give us tour about bee species and how they're producing honey. I really hate and scared of insects, especially bee :'(

the smallest bee species in the world

Actually the bee farm is at the north of Thailand. They (the bee) took opium pollen to make the honey. So it's very good for health. After the tour, they give us presentation about the honey and the bee pollen. Actually what they doing are upselling so we buy their product. But surprisingly one of the staff is Indonesian keke. They sell everything from honey: scrub, honey, bee pollen, soap, candy, even honey water.

After leaving this place, we stop by at a dried food store to buy souvenirs.

mine hehe

This store is very big with so much selection of dried food. From mango, nuts, banana, even durian. I spent around 1000 Baht and get a box full. lol :D

After that we visit Tiger and Crocodile Farm. It's almost lunch so we ate first. We eat at a jungle like restaurant with fake tree inside the Tiger and Crocodile Farm. My tour guide said this restaurant sell crocodile satay. Actually i'm not really afraid by it and take a bite. The meat is big, the texture is hard but the sauce is delicious. I only took one piece because it's hard to bite. Fortunately there's no tiger satay ;)

crocodile satay, not my pict

The crocodile show is not very entertaining though. At first, it's fun and make my heart beat fast when the instructor put her head into the crocodile's mouth.

But after they repeat the same action, i lost my interest. We can take a picture with the crocodile but i'm afraid to do it. So we went to the next show, Tiger show. The place is like a circus.

After watching the show, we went to Bangkok. We plan to go to Asiatique at night but it's still 3 PM so we went to Siam Paragon first. Me and my friends are not very hungry so we plan to buy snack. We search food stand in Siam Paragon food court. My friend looking for okonomiyaki stand and another one is looking at a sushi stand. So we bought both and share the food.

Sushi stand

The sushi are very delicious and fresh. My friend even said it's better than Sushi Tei. I also bought the famous Thai Tea. But the beverage stand sell it too sweet to my taste.

Siam Paragon food court with purple theme

Siam Paragon actually similar to mall in Indonesia. Almost sell the same clothing brand like mango and zara. So we didn't look around too much and choose to sit at the food court.
The mall is huge and they have sea world in the mall.
We plan to meet our tour guide on 5 PM so me and my friends hurriedly went to meeting point and found our tour guide already wait for us. But my friends parent, grandmother and her neighbor didn't show up so we called them. It turns out that they are shopping outside the mall. A lot of small stalls are open outside the mall and of course the price is cheaper so they went to shop there.

After that we went to Asiatique by the Riverfront. It's a new shopping destination in Bangkok.

Asiatique actually look like a night market because it's only open at night. The place is huge and it's divided to district. There's 4 district: Charoenkrung district (where you can find about 1000 boutiques), Town Square district, Factory district, and Waterfront district. Actually me and one of my friend only explore the Charoenkrung district because we are too busy bargain and shopping :D

If you like accessory, i recommend you to shop at a little store "Feliz". The product is handmade and actually the design is original and limited.

If there's opportunities again to visit Bangkok, i'll definitely comeback to this place :))

Ohh i will give you tips, if you want to visit this place you better wear a casual outfit like shirt and short and one more, if you want to try a clothes in Bangkok shopping destination mostly they don't have a fitting room. They will give you a sarong or you can wear tanktop so you can easily try the clothes. Happy Shopping!!

Stay tuned for the last Bangkok Pattaya Trip Day 5 :)

Bangkok-Pattaya Trip Day 3 Part 2: Silver Lake, Art in Paradise, Alcazar

     Hello everybody ^^
After going to Laser Buddha mountain, our tour guide said that Silver Lake is not far from this place but it's just a vineyard after all so we decided to just bought a grape juice. The grape juice taste very nice and fresh, i really like it. Actually the view is beautiful, like we are not at Thailand because it has Europe feel.

we can buy grape juice here

the villagio

the gazebo is very beautiful with lake view

Because we came at 3 pm, the sun is very bright so we didn't take the tour. I think the best hour to visit this place is when almost sunset.
You can do vineyard tour, rental pedal boats, bicycling, there's restaurant and cafe, and there's also 10 cottage (if you want to stay here). The view is like a heaven to a photographers because it's lake, garden landscape and pictorial sunset over the lake.
I want to visit this place again one day :)

We plan to visit Art in Paradise, it's the largest illusion art museum of the world. This is my first time visiting an illusion museum so i'm very excited.

The pictures are amazing. The place also very big, if you just explore it within 2 hours (like us), i'm sure, it won't be enough. At least 3-4 hours to explore the place.

really love this picture

The situation inside the museum:

We only have 2 hours to explore this place because we are hurry for the Alcazar show.
Everyone said if you want to see beautiful ladyboys, go to Tiffany. But if you want to see a great show go to Alcazar. The performance and the stage is very spectacular. The show start at 18.30 and we arrive before it. In front of the building there's ladyboys with costumes and you can take a picture with them. You must give them tips of course. But because of the show has started so we can't take the photo.
The ticket include welcome drink, so i took the cola :)

korean culture

psy & hyuna's gangnam style

night at the museum

ending

we can take a picture with them

The ladyboys are very beautiful. Even more beautiful than a woman. My tour guide said it's many tourist from western don't know he's a ladyboy and fell in love and even get married.
I'm afraid with the ladyboy so i don't go near them. Watching from far :)
I remember, there's a guy who's take a picture with the ladyboy and he doesn't want to pay so the ladyboy slapped the guy. It's very scary :(

Bangkok-Pattaya Trip Day 3 Part 1: Gems Jewelry, Nongnooch Village, Laser Buddha Mountain

     Hello everybody ^^
I got a new laptop so i'm back to post my Bangkok-Pattaya trip. Maybe i will do a simple review about my new laptop next time. keke so keep reading guys :):)

Today we will go to Pattaya so we pack our stuff and only bring few things (to wear at Pattaya) because yesterday we will come back to the same hotel in Bangkok. I'm so excited because they say Pattaya is a famous destination for tourist near Bangkok. We depart from Bangkok at 9 AM and arrive at Pattaya at 11 AM. Actually it only takes 1,5 hours but we stopped at the rest area.
We went straight to Gems Jewelry, it's a place where you can see how to make jewelry and there's gallery at the end of the tour (so you can buy the jewelry).
So we take a wheeled bogey ride into a man-made tunnel and witness a spectacular show in light and sound presentation of the glittering world of gems. It is dubbed “Theme Park – Dark Ride”, the first of its kind in Asia that is controlled by a fully computerized system. The show features the bursting of a volcano into lava that explained the origin of the gems until crystallized and becomes mineral rocks, among other interesting stops that ended at the glittering finished products of the cut precious stones.
Sorry, can't take photo inside the gallery.

After that we went to Nongnooch Village, a very big garden with lots of plants and you can see thai's attraction and shows.

We came here to have lunch, watch the thai cultural show and elephant show. I think the elephant show is very attractive than the thai cultural show. It's more funny and entertaining.

 muay thai

 thai's culture show

The thai's cultural show re-enactment of Thai's history and culture about the kingdom of the past and invading battles of other nations.
When i'm watching it the show is actually good, but the audience keep walking so it's annoying. (the audience who's late and couldn't sit because the venue's full, so they kept walking and disturb another audience)

 the elephants

riding a bicycle. so cute isn't it?

The elephants show is very attractive. We can take picture with the elephant (i'm so scared) and feed the with bananas. The elephants are clever and talented. I really enjoyed watching them (although it's very hot and i couldn't sit because the venue is already full). They can riding a bicycle, painting, bowling, basketball, even shooting an arrow.

Our next stop is Laser Buddha Mountain, not very far from the Nong Nooch Village.

 it's a real gold!

Laser Buddha Mountain is one of the largest Buddha images in the world. One of Pattaya's most noticeable landmarks is the 130 meters high Buddha Mountain. A huge golden Buddha image is set on the mountain, which is also called Khao Cheejan that can be seen from miles away.
The Buddha image that is officially called Phra Phuttha Maha Wachira Uttamopat Satsada was created in 1996 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej's accession the the throne.
During the Vietnam Wat the Thai Army used Khao Cheejan mountain for its mining efforts. The stones were used at U-Tapao airport, which was at the time an American army base. After the war mining continued for construction purposes until 1976.
The Buddha image was carved out of the cliff using laser technology. After that, it was inlaid with gold leaf, a process that took months to complete. The impressive Sukhothai era Buddha image is 130 meters high and 70 meters wide, making it one of the biggest Buddha images in the world.
