Bangkok-Pattaya Trip Day 4: Pattaya Beach, Bee Farm, Dried Food, Tiger and Crocodile Farm, Siam Paragon, Asiatique by The Riverfront

     Hello everybody ^^
This is my last day at Pattaya and soon we will heading to Bangkok. After prepare for check out from the hotel we ate breakfast inside the restaurant. The meal actually the same as when we eat at Bangkok. I also eat western food such as pancake, french toast, chicken sausage (the same sausage! really love it). We eat it deliciously with pool view so it's even more delicious :)

After check out from the hotel, our tour guide said Pattaya Beach is actually not far from the hotel so we stop by to take a look.

In front of the beach there's a new mall, the and only mall in Pattaya named Central Festival. But we didn't visit the mall because it's too early to visit lol.

Our plan today was pretty packed so we decided to go. The first place is bee farm. It's include in our tour package so we should go. At first they give us tour about bee species and how they're producing honey. I really hate and scared of insects, especially bee :'(

the smallest bee species in the world

Actually the bee farm is at the north of Thailand. They (the bee) took opium pollen to make the honey. So it's very good for health. After the tour, they give us presentation about the honey and the bee pollen. Actually what they doing are upselling so we buy their product. But surprisingly one of the staff is Indonesian keke. They sell everything from honey: scrub, honey, bee pollen, soap, candy, even honey water.

After leaving this place, we stop by at a dried food store to buy souvenirs.

mine hehe

This store is very big with so much selection of dried food. From mango, nuts, banana, even durian. I spent around 1000 Baht and get a box full. lol :D

After that we visit Tiger and Crocodile Farm. It's almost lunch so we ate first. We eat at a jungle like restaurant with fake tree inside the Tiger and Crocodile Farm. My tour guide said this restaurant sell crocodile satay. Actually i'm not really afraid by it and take a bite. The meat is big, the texture is hard but the sauce is delicious. I only took one piece because it's hard to bite. Fortunately there's no tiger satay ;)

crocodile satay, not my pict

The crocodile show is not very entertaining though. At first, it's fun and make my heart beat fast when the instructor put her head into the crocodile's mouth.

But after they repeat the same action, i lost my interest. We can take a picture with the crocodile but i'm afraid to do it. So we went to the next show, Tiger show. The place is like a circus.

After watching the show, we went to Bangkok. We plan to go to Asiatique at night but it's still 3 PM so we went to Siam Paragon first. Me and my friends are not very hungry so we plan to buy snack. We search food stand in Siam Paragon food court. My friend looking for okonomiyaki stand and another one is looking at a sushi stand. So we bought both and share the food.

Sushi stand

The sushi are very delicious and fresh. My friend even said it's better than Sushi Tei. I also bought the famous Thai Tea. But the beverage stand sell it too sweet to my taste.

Siam Paragon food court with purple theme

Siam Paragon actually similar to mall in Indonesia. Almost sell the same clothing brand like mango and zara. So we didn't look around too much and choose to sit at the food court.
The mall is huge and they have sea world in the mall.
We plan to meet our tour guide on 5 PM so me and my friends hurriedly went to meeting point and found our tour guide already wait for us. But my friends parent, grandmother and her neighbor didn't show up so we called them. It turns out that they are shopping outside the mall. A lot of small stalls are open outside the mall and of course the price is cheaper so they went to shop there.

After that we went to Asiatique by the Riverfront. It's a new shopping destination in Bangkok.

Asiatique actually look like a night market because it's only open at night. The place is huge and it's divided to district. There's 4 district: Charoenkrung district (where you can find about 1000 boutiques), Town Square district, Factory district, and Waterfront district. Actually me and one of my friend only explore the Charoenkrung district because we are too busy bargain and shopping :D

If you like accessory, i recommend you to shop at a little store "Feliz". The product is handmade and actually the design is original and limited.

If there's opportunities again to visit Bangkok, i'll definitely comeback to this place :))

Ohh i will give you tips, if you want to visit this place you better wear a casual outfit like shirt and short and one more, if you want to try a clothes in Bangkok shopping destination mostly they don't have a fitting room. They will give you a sarong or you can wear tanktop so you can easily try the clothes. Happy Shopping!!
