Egg Tart *repost from c'est ma vie*

Ingredients for crust:
340 gr tepung terigu
230 gr butter
70 gr gula halus
1/2 butir telur, dikocok

Ingredients for custard:
3 butir telur
80 gr gula halus
70 ml susu cair
230 ml air

How to Make It?
1. Crust: kocok butter dan gula sampai lembut.
2. Tambahkan campuran tadi dengan telur.
3. Tambahkan tepung dan buat menjadi kalis.
4. Tutup adonan dengan cling wrap atau serbet dan simpan dalam lemari es selama 30 menit.
5. Timbang adonan masing-masing 20 gr (tergantung ukuran cetakan) kemudian tekan kedalam cetakan. Sisihkan.
6. Isi: Kocok telur dan gula hingga lembut.
7. Tambahkan susu sambil terus dikocok.
8. Tambahkan juga air secara bertahap sambil terus dikocok.
9. Tuang campuran tadi kedalam cetakan yang sudah diisi dengan adonan kulit.
10. Panaskan terlebih dahulu oven dengan panas 180 derajat Celcius dan panggang selama 25 menit hingga lapisan crustnya berwarna agak kecoklatan.
11. Keluarkan egg tart dari oven dan cetakan, dinginkan bagian bawahnya (tapi bukan dengan cara memasukkannya ke dalam kulkas)

Steamed Black Sticky Rice Cake *repost from c'est ma vie*

   Hello everybody ^^
I'll repost my recipe from C'est Ma Vie since i want to non-activated the blog. It's quite hard to manage many blog haha. So here's the recipe.

Ingredients: 
3 butir telur
100 gr gula pasir
1/2 tsp ovalet
175 gr tepung beras ketan hitam, ayak
1/8 tsp garam
75 ml minyak goreng
100 ml santan cair

How to Make It?
1. Mixer telur hingga agak mengembang, lalu masukkan gula, garam dan ovalet. Mixer hingga putih.
2. Tambahkan tepung beras secara perlahan, aduk dengan cara folding searah. Tambahkan minyak dan santan.
3. Siapkan loyang 10x22x8 cm, oles dengan margarin dan tepung. Panaskan panci kukusan, bungkus tutup panci dengan kain agar air tidak menetes pada kue dan kue tidak menjadi basah.
4. Kukus selama 40 menit.

     Hello everybody ^^
At first we want to go to Sumoboo but the queue was crazy. It's still drizzle and it's very dark. So we went to Rati Rati because when i saw a blog review about the restaurant, the decor was good and white (in the picture). Actually it's kinda disappointing, not what me and my friends imagine to be. The service quite bad, the space is narrow but fortunately the desserts are great.

I order Ange Rouge Roll and vanilla profiterole, while my friends orders Jepang Matcha Roll and Kardinal Strawberry.

The sponge was awesome (it was soft and like a pillow lol) and the ice cream especially good. I really like the color and garnish too :D

Not really like this one because even though i can see there's vanilla bean in the cream but i can't taste the vanilla.

Lady Alice Tea Room, Benton Junction

     Hello everybody ^^
Benton Junction is near my home so i went there quite often. My friends told me that Lady Alice have unique tea, not just ordinary tea bag like another restaurant but they create a new one. So here we are :)

This place makes you feel like you are having a picnic in a garden. I try the ala carte chimney cake Vanilla Chimney Cake (my friends recommendation), and my friend try the original Cinnamon Chimney Cake.

My friend said that the cake is difficult to eat lol.

The chimney cake was good, the plating is beautiful BUT.. the sauce makes me wanna swear. REALLY. It was sour (yes! the chocolate sauce). My chef back at the hotel said the taste of the sauce is important. It's FATAL for me. When i ask the waiter, they just told me 'memang rasanya gitu mbak'. I never found a sour chocolate sauce (not combine with sour fruit like raspberry chocolate sauce) in my life unless it's already spoiled :(( super disappointing.

Well, we orders Sweet Fruit Tea, Rose Hibiscus Vanilla Tea and Rose Strawberry Tea.

TWG Tea Salon & Boutique, Plaza Senayan

     Hello everybody ^^
Since i saw the TWG at Pacific Place i really want to try it. So here i am, not at Pacific Place, but Plaza Senayan, the first shop of TWG Tea Salon & Boutique in Indonesia. The decor is amazing and so the ambience. I give 4 thumbs up hehe

There's 3 tea set menu in different prices and selection. You can choose according to your taste.

We choose the 1837 (with muffin) because we are already full. And there's one more thing, one person one tea pot. Because the set provide 1 tea pot, we must choose another 2. I choose Weekend in Venice Tea (green tea), my friends choose Grand Wedding Tea (black tea) and Sakura! Sakura! Tea. Personally i love the Sakura! Sakura! Tea smell. It's so fragrant. The Grand Wedding Tea smell very peach and mine, is like a parfume (my friend said).

I want to try their macaron so we pick the ala carte for macaron (15k each). The red one is Bain de Rose Tea and the white one is Moroccan Mint Tea and it was so damn good! The muffins are delicious and they give us whipped cream and apricot jam.

JJ Royal Bistro, Senayan City

     Hello everybody ^^ long time no see haha
A few days ago me and my friends visit JJ Royal Bistro at Senayan City Mall. It's my first time eating there and the ambience is great. The decoration and furniture are unique.

It's like combination of Indonesian, Arabian (maybe because it's close to eid?) and western. I'm sorry i forgot to take a picture about the decor but surely i captured the food :)

 salt & pepper calamari (55k)

For the appetizer we choose this salt & pepper calamari. I don't really like it because the the calamari is oily yet the taste so-so.

crispy chicken burger (85k)

The burger bun was good but i don't like the crispy chicken and the cheese. Honestly when i ate this i must drink water so i can swallow the food. 

the animal (135k)

This one is my favorite. It has homemade meat balls, pork bacon, pepperoni, smoked chicken, wagyu beef, mozarella cheese and tomato sauce. The pizza is thin and crispy :9

Book Review: Lauren Conrad Beauty

     Hello everybody ^^
This is almost the end of my internship. Finally :) after 6 months. My boarding house is nearby Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia, so i often sightseeing there. Just for window shopping or just strolling around. I went to a Kinokuniya bookstore at Grand Indonesia, and i saw a book about beauty and i remembered, many beauty bloggers have this book. It's Lauren Conrad Beauty book. At high school, i want to be a makeup artist once and i do really care about makeup and style. So i decided to buy the book but not in Kinokuniya but at Books & Beyond at UPH Building A based on curiosity about the book. The price is IDR 219k.

The book has 12 chapter. Overall, this book is telling us about basic things of makeup. From skin care, hair care, to everyday and party makeup.

My favorite chapter is definitely about the everyday makeup. She even tells about makeup tips and tricks. Even for beginner, the tips and tricks really simple so you can follow it. Lauren Conrad share the makeup tips even for the foundation until lip gloss and even the brushes.

Lauren give explanation to detail with picture so we won't confused by guessing in our thought.

I think the funniest section is about beauty disaster as you can see at the picture below:

So beginner, don't worry if you don't know anything about makeup. It's not too late, Lauren will teach you about the inner and outer beauty. Stay beautiful!! :)

Forever 21 Haul

     Hello everybody!!
Because now i do my internship at Grand Hyatt Jakarta, so i rent a room at a boarding house in Kebon Kacang area, behind Plaza Indonesia. I often went to Grand Indonesia Shopping Town and Plaza Indonesia to stroll around and i like to shopping :) Usually i will go to Forever 21-Pull & Bear-Cotton On at Grand Indonesia and Stradivarius-Bershka at Plaza Indonesia. Now i'll share you about things i've bought at my favorite store, Forever 21. I'm here not to bragging, so don't leave a hate comment because i just want to share :)

I'm totally in love with Forever 21. Their dress, clothes, accessories, bags, i love them all hehe. These are the things that i bought from forever 21, of course i'm not bought these things at the same time.

The first things that i bought is this black dress. Totally in love with the collar and the jaguar pins. IDR 419k
I bought this at Forever 21 in Pondok Indah Mall 1.

 

I'm trying to find a little black dress and i love collar, so this dress is so perfect. But only one thing, the collar trend is already long enough. When the collar trend will be over?
The dress is very chic with sheer see-through material, i guess it's chiffon.

The second one is this jacket. The colour is very attractive. I even go back and forth to the manekin (that wear this jacket). IDR 329k

The gold zipper also very attractive!!
